Ignite Stamford is a community outlet for sharing stories, spreading ideas, and enacting positive change on a local level. Inspired by TED, Pecha Kucha, and, of course, global Ignite series, I brought my own version to Stamford in December 2012. Since then, we've had dozens of speakers, hundreds of attendees, and lots of creativity. In addition to launching the organization, I also created the identity, copy, and collateral. You could say I'm a jill-of-all-trades?
Bike Stamford is a series of citizen bike rides with the goal of creating a more bike-friendly Stamford and encouraging cycling as means of recreation, fitness, and transportation. As an avid bike commuter, I launched this initiative in fall 2013 with my roommate. Over 60 individuals rode their bikes on the first ride and the initiative was featured in several local press outlets. Of course, I designed a logo for the project as well as various print materials and social media grapics.
